Outside Operations Assistant, Cart Barn, Practice Facility, Caddy

  • Cart Barn

Duties in the cart barn begin with preparing carts for the morning tee times, so they ae fully stocked with bags ready for the members/players. Throughout the day it is imperative to quickly ‘flip’ the carts coming in so that they can then be prepared and ready for play later in the day. Later in the day, the carts will be cleaned and bags pulled ready for the following day’s groupings.

  • Driving Range

The driving range is set up at the beginning of every day and broken down every evening. In between, duties mainly involve being on hand for any member queries, making additions to the tee sheet, cleaning clubs and carrying bags. All the while ensuring the range is fully equipped with balls and tees.

  • Caddying

As a caddy, I have worked on behalf on members and guest groups during both leisurely rounds and big events. I work quickly so as to provide the player with as much helpful information as I can, from tee to green. I endeavor to familiarize myself with the course and understand it as best I can so I can be at my best for each loop.
